Mandela Grocery Cooperative Will Remain Open During COVID-19 Health Crisis

To Our Beloved Community,

During the COVID-19 health crisis, Mandela Grocery Cooperative will remain open. We are committed to providing fresh, organically grown produce, high-quality groceries, and essential household items to residents in and around West Oakland. 

Inside the store, we are taking precautions to reduce the spread of the virus. Our team is washing our hands and changing our gloves consistently. We are wiping down counters, and hand baskets regularly. 

If you are feeling sick please stay home. Take necessary precautions not to spread the disease. Also, if you are over the age of 65, please stay home. You can call our store (number is below) to place an order for pick up. We will do our best to shop for you and schedule a time for you to pick up your groceries. 

Most of our suppliers are remaining open. Some of our smaller, local suppliers are understandably pausing business. We will continue to receive fresh produce shipments daily. Grocery, Dairy, and Household shipments come twice per week. 

Take good care of yourself and your family during these difficult times. Please continue to be thoughtful of and generous to your neighbors.
